Madinah – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – September 17, 2025: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a directive to name the Airport Road in Madinah after His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The road connects the Prophet’s Mosque to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Road, which leads to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and the Royal Terminal, passing through Rua Al Madinah Project.

This gracious directive reflects the great care and attention Madinah continues to receive through the development of distinctive projects that improve quality of life and enrich the experience of both visitors and residents. The road also serves as a vital urban artery that supports sustainable development and enhances investment opportunities in Madinah.

Rua Al Madinah Project, developed by Rua Al Madinah Holding – a PIF company – spans an area of 1.35 million m². It aims to provide more than 47 thousands of hospitality units, enhancing Madinah’s position as a global urban destination and developing the hospitality sector in alignment with the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
