Madinah, Saudi Arabia – 14 February 2026: H.E. the Mayor of Madinah Region and CEO of Madinah Region Development Authority, Eng. Fahad M. Al Buliheshi, honored Rua Al Madinah Holding for its exclusive sponsorship of the second edition of Ma’alem Marathon in Madinah.
Ma’alem Marathon is a community sporting event that launched today, Saturday, 14 February, featuring three main race routes covering distances of 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, with broad participation from across the community.
On this occasion, Eng. Ahmed Al Juhani, Chief Executive Officer of Rua Al Madinah Holding, stated: “This participation reaffirms the importance of supporting impactful community initiatives that contribute to activating the community landscape and enhancing positive engagement. The marathon aims to promote a culture of physical activity and connect sports with cultural experience through routes passing by several of Madinah’s landmarks, reflecting Madinah’s identity and strengthening participants’ connection to its history. The event also witnessed the participation and engagement of a number of the company’s employees, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and its commitment to active involvement in community activities.
