Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 11 November 2025: Rua Al Madinah Holding, a PIF company, signed two strategic hospitality agreements worth a total of USD 165 million on the sidelines of the Global Tourism Forum (TOURISE) in Riyadh.
These agreements come as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to develop and operate distinguished world-class hotel destinations in Madinah, in line with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program.
The first agreement was signed with IHG Hotels & Resorts to develop and operate Crowne Plaza Rua Al Madinah and Holiday Inn Rua Al Madinah within the Rua Al Madinah Project, located just steps away from the Prophet’s Mosque.
The two hotels will offer 2,334 guest rooms and create over 1,300 job opportunities, supporting Madinah’s growing hospitality capacity and enabling it to welcome more visitors from around the world.
Crowne Plaza Rua Al Madinah will include 1,280 rooms, three upscale restaurants, advanced facilities for events and meetings, and multi-level parking areas, while Holiday Inn Rua Al Madinah will feature 1,054 rooms equipped with modern amenities, two restaurants, and spaces for meetings and retail.
The second agreement was signed with Adeera Hospitality Management, a PIF company, under which Adeera will manage and operate 370 keys, comprising 250 premium hotel rooms and 120 residential units within the same project.
This step reflects Rua Al Madinah Holding’s commitment to supporting promising national companies and strengthening their presence alongside leading international hospitality brands.
On this occasion, Mr. Naif bin Saleh Al Hamdan, Chairman of Rua Al Madinah Holding, affirmed that these agreements mark a new milestone in the company’s journey toward realizing its ambitious vision to enhance Madinah’s status as a global destination that seamlessly blends authenticity and modernity. He emphasized that the company is dedicated to offering unique hospitality experiences that reflect the spirit of Madinah and enrich visitors’ cultural journeys.
Eng. Ahmed Al Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, explained that the collaboration with IHG and Adeera comes as part of the company’s strategy to diversify hotel brands within the project.
